Molly Deere
Molly Deere serves as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Stephens, where she provides legal advice on general corporate and securities law matters, and represents the firm in connection with SEC and FINRA enforcement actions and in civil litigation. Ms. Deere is a member of the Governance Committee for Stephens’ INVESTED initiative, a business resource group focused on the recruitment and retention of women at Stephens. Prior to joining Stephens, Ms. Deere was an Associate for Donovan & Rainie, LLC, representing industry professionals in corporate and securities litigation and transactional matters. Ms. Deere is a member of the Executive Committee of SIFMA’s Compliance & Legal Society; she formerly served as Co-Chair of the SIFMA Compliance & Legal Society’s Future Leaders Committee and as a member of the Planning Committee for the 2019 European Compliance and Legal Conference hosted by the Association for Financial Markets in Europe. Ms. Deere is a frequent speaker on industry related issues, both nationally and internationally. Ms. Deere received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University, J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Deere also holds her SIE, Series 7 and CIPP licenses.
