Jim Monahan
James (Jim) Monahan is a Senior Executive within the Brokerage Community with a broad understanding of the financial services industry with extensive experience in both line and project management.
Jim has over 35 years brokerage operations experience with a primary focus being on domestic and global Corporate Actions, other areas of experience are: Risk Management, Stock Loan Operations, P&S reconciliations, Settlements and Global Project Management.
Jim is a recognized leader within the Asset Servicing Community with experience in leading global Asset Servicing teams within the retail and institutional client base across several Firms with a keen focus and successful track record in delivering comprehensive risk mitigation through technology implementation.
Jim is a Past President of the Corporate Action Section within SIFMA’s Operations and Technology Society, as well as a former member of the following industry organizations where he represented his Firms: The Private Client & Capital Markets Working Group at SIFMA, the DTCC Asset Servicing Advisory Board and of the US Proxy Independent Steering Committee formed by the SEC in 1991 and hosted by Broadridge
