Katrina Cavalli

Managing Director, Public Affairs, SIFMA

Ms. Cavalli is Managing Director, Public Affairs at SIFMA. She is responsible for developing and executing strategies that increase the visibility of the firm by working closely with the broader communications team, SIFMA leadership and staff. In her role, she engages in regular interaction with members of the media to advance SIFMA’s advocacy initiatives and positions on key industry and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining SIFMA, Ms. Cavalli was an associate editor at Forbes, where she oversaw all phases of large projects such as the annual list of 200 Best Small Companies. This included conducting financial research and writing accompanying stories. She also wrote articles for both print and digital properties on company and industry topics across the equity and fixed-income markets.

Before working in the media and communications fields, Ms. Cavalli was an equity research analyst at Scudder Kemper Investments, where she was the lead analyst for the small-cap basic materials, industrial and packaging sectors. In this role she worked closely with portfolio managers, traders, and other small cap analysts on covered companies and broader industry and market trends. Ms. Cavalli started her career at Neuberger Berman.

She holds a BA in English from Alfred University.
