Paul Tiffany
Paul A. Tiffany, Ph.D., is a highly experienced business consultant and an acclaimed facilitator of management training and development programs for leading firms and organizations throughout the world. He recently retired from his appointment as a Senior Lecturer at the Haas School of Business of the University of California, Berkeley, where he taught for twenty-five years offering courses in Business Policy & Strategy and International Management. He continues to serve as a Visiting Professor at Sasin, the Graduate Institute of Business at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Professor Tiffany earned an MBA from Harvard University and his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Tiffany has authored several books: The Decline of American Steel, published by Oxford University Press and later distributed in a Japanese edition, and Business Plans for Dummies (co-authored with Dr. Steven Peterson), a world-wide Top-Five finalist in the Booz Allen/Financial Times “Best Business Book of 1998” competition. The first edition went through fifteen printings and was available in ten languages; a 3rd edition was published in 2022. Professor Tiffany has also been recognized for his teaching, receiving the Cheit Award as the outstanding professor in the Berkeley Executive MBA program, the Anvil Award as Wharton’s top professor, and the Lindback Award as the outstanding professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Tiffany currently leads Paul Tiffany & Associates, a multi-specialty consulting and training organization that offers management services to firms throughout the world.
