Elana Propis

Ms. Propis joined SIFMA in July 2017 as Vice President of Member Engagement. In this role, she is responsible for managing key aspects of member recruitment and engagement for broker-dealers, investment banks, and asset managers. She has extensive experience in finance on both the buy side and sell side.

Elana started her career at JPMorgan Chase as an analyst in their Internal Consulting Services program. Following this, she worked as an equity volatility trader for Royal Bank of Canada’s proprietary trading desk. She then moved over to Macquarie to grow their newly launched electronic trading and execution services platform. Prior to SIFMA, Elana was Vice President of Electronic Sales at ITG.

Elana holds a B.S. in Policy Analysis & Management with a consumer concentration from Cornell University.
