Brian Doyle
Brian is responsible for the firm’s regulatory capital including the calculations of the Basel III Advanced and Standardized capital ratios and the Supplementary Leverage ratio as well as the related stress tests. His responsibilities include internal and external reporting of the firm’s capital ratios, capital attribution, return on attributed equity (ROAE) and capital planning. He is a member of the Firmwide Finance Committee, Firmwide Stress Test Committee, Firmwide ROAE Committee and The Risk Uncertainties in Stress Testing (TRUST) Committee.
Previously, he was co-head of the Controllers Pricing and Valuation Group responsible for building and improving the firm’s independent price verification function. Prior to that, Brian was the product controller for a variety of trading businesses, including Interest Rate Products and Foreign Exchange. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as an associate and was named managing director in 2009.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian worked at Coopers & Lybrand as an auditor in New York and also served in the US Army. Brian earned a BS in Accounting from Providence College and is a certified public accountant.
