Alicia Alonso Matos is Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Fidelity Investments, a diversified financial services firm. Since 2006, she has supported various Fidelity business units based in the United States advising on all aspects of employment law. She has also provided legal support for sites in Asia, the UK and Europe. Her experience includes handling workforce planning, internal investigations, and employment litigation; providing advice regarding wage and hour matters, leaves of absence and accommodations and contagious illness in the workplace. Since early 2020, Alicia has been a member of the cross-disciplinary team handling the firm’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Fidelity’s workforce around the world.
