Shane Hurley
Shane has 16 years of experience as a risk advisory professional serving financial services institutions. He has advised clients to helping to identify relevant risks, document front to back trade lifecycle risks and controls, evaluate business processes, test transactions, create assessment reports, and identify opportunities for improved accuracy and efficiency. Most recently, Shane is working with institutional sales and trading businesses to design enhanced business practices to improve market conduct.
Shane has led engagements to design risk and control frameworks to meet regulatory and industry best practices, including identifying and implementing remedial actions. Shane has recently assisted several investment banks in their response to Foreign Exchange consent orders and supporting the rollout of conduct risk and controls pertaining to the Supervisory Control Framework and Transaction Monitoring and Surveillance.
Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University. He is a member of the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional. Shane enjoys spending time with his two young sons, playing golf, and reading books about U.S. history.
