Jennifer Johnson

Jenn Johnson is the Vice President of Advisor Business Development Programs at Ameriprise Financial.  She is focused on the training and development of new advisors and elite advisor engagement programs.  She supports both the branch and independent advisor channels at Ameriprise and has led the work of award-winning sales development programs for new advisors. Johnson co-leads the Ameriprise’s Women’s Strategy, focused on making Ameriprise the firm of choice for women advisors.  She has held several leadership roles during her 15 years at Ameriprise, including change management, wholesaling, advisor development and operations.

Prior to joining Ameriprise, Johnson was a National Account Manager at ING life and was responsible for aggressive growth targets with the top 10 accounts at the firm. She began her career in Financial Services as an internal wholesaler at Allianz Life.

Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She has been an active participant in the SIFMA Next Generation of Advisors Roundtables for the past several years.
