Greg Gist

Director of Technology and Information Risk Management, Promontory

Greg works with clients regarding cloud offerings and other items such as information security, business process risk and resilience planning.

Prior to joining Promontory, Greg spent five years at the Financial Services – Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) collaborating with member institutions on a range of topics including cyber/physical threat exercising, business resilience policy/program development and management and crisis response. Recognized as the financial sector subject matter expert on infectious disease resilience, Greg has presented at numerous conferences to C-level executives, corporate Boards, international regulators and central banks.

Earlier in his career, Greg spent 23 Years at Citi in a variety of roles and activities including information security, technology audit and compliance. Over the course of his career, Greg has worked with numerous public sector agencies including The United States Department of the Treasury on physical and cyber policy and threat issues and other events including: 9/11, the 2003 Northeast Blackout, Super-storm Sandy and multiple global natural disasters.

Greg received his BBA in Management Information Systems at Pace University, Lubin School of Business.
