Jennifer Vakiener

Jennifer is a Senior Vice President, Legal and Regulatory at Brookfield Asset Management.  Prior to joining Brookfield, she was an Executive Director and Financial Crimes Counsel at Morgan Stanley, advising on issues involving anti-money laundering risks.  Before going in-house, Jen served as Senior Enforcement Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and at FINRA.  Prior to her enforcement roles, she worked in private practice at Paul Weiss as a securities litigation and white-collar criminal defense attorney.   Jen earned her B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, her M.A. from Columbia, and her J.D. from Cardozo School of Law.
