James M. Collins

Managing Director and the North America Regional Legal Entity Controller, JP Morgan

Jim Collins is a Managing Director and the North America Regional Legal Entity Controller for the Corporate and Investment Bank at JPMorgan. He also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and J.P. Morgan Prime Inc.  which are US broker-dealers. Primary responsibilities include legal entity accounting and control, regulatory reporting and Net Capital and Customer Protection compliance.

Jim has been in this role since 2008. Jim was head of US Broker-Dealer Regulatory reporting at Bear Stearns from 2004-2008. Prior to that he was employed at JPMorgan in various Finance roles and started his career at the accounting firm of Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young) where he worked as a staff accountant.

Jim is a licensed CPA in the state of New York and he also holds a Series 27 registration. Jim received a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University.
