David Sobul

Associate General Counsel, Structured Finance and ESG , Bank of America

David Sobul is an Associate General Counsel at Bank of America.  His principal responsibilities include supporting the company’s Treasury Group securitization activities and the company’s Global Sustainable Finance Group as its primary line of business attorney.

Mr. Sobul began his legal career in the structured finance and capital markets practice groups of Thacher Proffitt & Wood and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.   Prior to joining Bank of America in 2008, Mr. Sobul was a member of the legal departments at Countrywide Financial and Select Portfolio Servicing.

Mr. Sobul holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Whitman College, where he graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Pennsylvania School of Law.  He is admitted to practice law in California and New York.
