Norm Eaker

Retired Chief Administrative Officer, Edward Jones

Norman Eaker, a Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. alum served at Edward Jones from 1981 until his retirement on December 31, 2016.

Having started the Internal Audit Department in 1981, his roles and responsibilities increased until becoming the firm’s first Chief Administration Officer responsible for Global Operations, Technology, Human Resources and Service in 2008. Eaker was a General Partner and a member of the firm’s Management and Executive Committees.

Eaker’s industry involvement includes past board membership on the Chicago Stock Exchange and Depository Trust and Clearing Corp., and SIFMA Operations Committee Chairman.

His community involvement includes serving on the Maryville University Board of Directors (Finance Chair), the St. Luke’s Hospital Board of Directors (Chair) and past St. Louis Symphony Board (Chair.)
