Laura Deegan

Laura Deegan serves as Counsel at Miller & Chevalier. She represents clients in a broad range of economic sanctions and export controls, anti-money laundering (AML), and complex national security matters. Prior to joining Miller & Chevalier, she was a sanctions regulations advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, and prior to that she managed sanctions compliance at various global banks. Ms. Deegan regularly advises on compliance with U.S. economic sanctions and embargo programs and develops strategies and recommendations to implement economic sanctions authorities. Ms. Deegan is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
