David Petiteville
David holds the dual role of Director Global Custody Product and Head of Regulatory Solutions; he oversights the custody services for the fund segment and supervises global regulatory impacts for the complete set of back-office products within RBC Investor Services. In addition, he leads the T+1 program initiative and the SWIFT transition to ISO 20022. He has previously held managerial roles as Head of Enterprise Risk Management at RBC Investor Services and in Financial Services Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
David joined RBC Investor Services in September 2006 and has over 25 years of industry expertise in all aspects of Asset Services, focusing on custody services. He participates in several industry working and advisory groups to evaluate legislative and regulatory changes and develop industry best practices. He currently participates in the North American AGC sub-committee and the European CSDR AGC working group; he sits at the CCMA and PIMAC and engages in several ISSA working groups, including T+1 and the future of custody services.
David has earned two Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from the Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg, France, an Executive Master’s degree in Business Management from Louvain School of Management, University of Louvain, Belgium, and an FT Non-Executive Director Diploma from Pearson University, UK, as part of the Financial Times Board Director Program.
