George Black

George is a Principal in Deloitte’s Capital Markets practice with over 20 years of experience leading transformation at global financial institutions.  George’s experience includes leading global projects in Business Strategy, New Product Launches, Operations Transformation, Regulatory Compliance and technology implementation – with a specific focus in Capital Markets innovation in the post-trade operating model.

Prior to his consulting career, George spent 13 years at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, primarily serving as the front-office Product Manager for Synthetic Equity Prime Brokerage, where he led the build of the Equity Synthetics capabilities in the US and UK for Barclays Capital post acquisition.  In this role, he was responsible for funding and prioritizing Business, Operations, and Technology change, designing legal entity booking models, managing New Product Approvals, driving platform monetization, and leading Complex Client Integration.
