Brennan McMurry

Brennan McMurry is a seasoned financial services professional and currently a Vice President at Citadel and Citadel Securities, where he oversees financial and regulatory control for three broker dealers and works on Citadel Securities global consolidation and reporting. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS in Business Administration, Brennan majored in Finance with a concentration in International Business and a secondary minor in Economics. He is currently advancing his skillset and strategic thinking at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management through their Executive MBA program.

With a rich tapestry of professional accolades, Brennan is especially proud of receiving Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30, which recognizes his commitment to excellence and community involvement in the financial sector. At Citadel, he has spearheaded initiatives to enhance automation and system efficiencies, demonstrating his aptitude for adaptive leadership and innovation.

Beyond his corporate role, Brennan is actively involved in community service, contributing to Thrive Scholars and numerous mentorship programs. His leadership prowess extends to significant roles such as a member of the SIFMA Advisory Committee, Leadership Committee, and currently serving as the North Central Chairman for the National Achievement Commission of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, INC.

Brennan is also a family man, married to his amazing wife Dana and their three lovely kids Brennan II, Braken Dawn and Bella and a shoe aficionado with a collection of over 200 pairs, Brennan embodies a work hard, play harder ethos. Whether it’s supporting his children in their tons of activities, engaging in golf, or collecting shoes, he brings passion and dedication to every aspect of his life.
