Jennifer Fitzgibbon

Jennifer Fitzgibbon is a Managing Director and Americas Treasurer for Barclays. She oversees the liquidity, capital and balance sheet management functions for the US Intermediate Holding Company and Combined US Operations, as well as other locations within the Americas.

Prior to joining Barclays in August 2021, Jennifer was MD Head of Americas Treasury at Rabobank since 2016. She was also a Principal at EY in the advisory practice from 2014 to 2016 after spending five years at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), most recently as Head of Americas Treasury for the Markets and Investment Banking Division. In her over almost 30 years in banking, she has also held senior level positions in Treasury, Finance and Risk Management at Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and HVB (now Unicredit).

Before her career in Finance, Jennifer spent two years as an aerospace engineer for Boeing Defense and Space Group. Jennifer holds an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (emphasis in Aerospace Engineering) and a B.S. in Psychology, both from Old Dominion University. She also holds a certificate in Financial Risk Management (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and Series 7, 24, 66 licenses.
