
Mona Nag
Mona Nag is a Managing Director and Americas Finance Chief Accounting Officer at Deutsche Bank. She joined DB in 2014 as the Head of US Regulatory Policy. In 2017, Mona was promoted to lead the US Transaction Policy and Advisory Group, a specialist function that serves as internal subject matter experts on accounting and capital regulation. In 2019, as the Americas Chief Accounting Officer, Mona’s responsibilities were further expanded to include oversight of Legal entity control and Financial reporting and disclosure functions. As the CFO of DB’s US Bank entity, she oversees presentation of financial performance and metrics to its Board of Directors and Audit Committee members.
Prior to DB, Mona spent seven years at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director in the Accounting and Regulatory Policy Group responsible for monitoring emerging technical accounting guidance pursuant to US GAAP and market risk, capital and leverage requirements under Basel.
Prior to MS, Mona worked in various Finance roles at Merrill Lynch, TIAA-CREF and the Chubb Insurance Group. Mona gained her auditing experience at Nisivoccia and Co, CPAs.
She is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Business (1993) and certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey State Society of CPAs and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants.
Outside of work Mona is passionate about travel, particularly travel that involves self-guided hiking (her most recent experience was exploring Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile’s Patagonia region).
