Erika Charnley

Erika Charnley is part of the Business Development team for Equities and FX at Virtu Financial. In her current role, she is responsible for the firm’s Single Dealer Platforms (VEQ-Link and VEQ), as well as Virtu’s customized FX and metals liquidity offerings. Additionally, Erika focuses on off-exchange routing optimization, new business strategy, and managing relationships with counterparties and venues across equities and FX.

Erika began her career at Virtu in the Electronic Services Group, where she worked directly with customers on planning, UAT testing, and production go-live processes. In 2019, she joined the Off-Exchange Liquidity team, and in 2024, she took on the responsibility for managing the SDP. In 2021, Erika began working with the FX market making team, and now leads Virtu’s FX business development efforts.

Erika currently serves on Virtu’s Best Execution Committee and Retail Order Routing Committee. She is a committee member for the Wall Street Taste of New York event to benefit St. Jude’s and is also an active member of STANY and STANY Emerging Leaders. Erika was the recipient of the Markets Media Women in Finance Rising Star award in 2021. She holds a BA in Economics from Boston College.
