
Parvin Daphne Moyne
Parvin Moyne is a partner in Akin’s White Collar Defense & Government Investigations practice. She represents financial institutions, corporations and their senior executives in white collar criminal and regulatory defense matters, internal investigations and complex commercial litigation. Parvin has extensive experience in matters arising from allegations of fraud, market manipulation, corruption, money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act violations.
Parvin’s practice builds on nearly a decade of experience as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. During her tenure at SDNY, Parvin was a member of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force.
Parvin received her B.A. from Yale University and her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Law Review. Following law school, Parvin clerked for then-Chief Judge Dennis Jacobs of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
