Mrs. Wheat manages RBC’s relationships with its prudential regulators (i.e., Federal Reserve, OCC, and OSFI) for RBC’s Combined U.S. Operations (“CUSO”) related to Cybersecurity, Technology, Operational Risk, Third-Party Risk Management, and Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery. Additionally, Mrs. Wheat manages RBC’s relationships with its markets regulators (i.e., FINRA, SEC, CFTC, and state regulators) for CUSO, and more specifically, RBC’s broker dealer activities. Mrs. Wheat acts as the primary point of contact and coordination for markets regulators, provides support and advice for regulatory exams, inquiries, and investigations, and oversees the ongoing monitoring, reporting, and escalation of key regulatory matters. Mrs. Wheat has been with RBC for over 11 years, and prior to her current position, she held various roles within U.S. Compliance, including Volcker Rule Advisory and Surveillance. Mrs. Wheat holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University.
