Managing Director in the Strategy & Growth Office (SGO), JPMorgan Chase

Alice Wang is a Managing Director in the Strategy & Growth Office (SGO) of JPMorgan Chase. Her current areas of focus include standing up and running the SGO’s technology Accelerator. She is also heavily involved in market infrastructure changes, most recently with USD Libor benchmark reform. Alice was on the senior management team that developed the Firm’s first international consumer banking offering, Chase U.K. She serves on the boards of Nutmeg, the U.K. retail asset manager, and J.P. Morgan Technology Services.

The majority of her career has been spent in or associated with the markets businesses, where she held senior roles in sales and structuring, derivatives pricing and risk mitigation strategies, for over 30 years. Early in her career she ran derivatives and foreign exchange operations, introducing concepts such as STP and global operations at a time when technologies were still largely focused on mainframe, batch processes. She was one of the initial participants in the development of Continuous Linked Settlement (“CLS”).
