Aruna Parthiban
Aruna Parthiban is a member of Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Business and Market Solution Group. As part of the leadership team, she manages the industry engagement, vendor governance and transformative technology strategy for the asset management organization.
Ms. Parthiban has been with Goldman Sachs since 2004 and has managed various functions including the broker and custodian relationship management, OTC and listed derivatives post trade operations, and counterparty governance, expense management, risk, people and program management. She was a key member in establishing the investment management operations summit (IMOS) in 2013, the first industry forum for investment managers in India with a focus to bring peer connect in the region, growing the sponsorship to 6 firms and 30+ member firms. Ms. Parthiban is accountable for rendering strategy and thought leadership with a focus to connect with industry and identify opportunities to bring in efficiency and transformation in operations. She is a senior escalation manager for any operational touch points with respect to external banks, counterparties and vendors. Ms. Parthiban represents Goldman Sachs Asset Management at various industry forums and currently is part of the ISITC’s board of directors and an executive co-chair in ISITC’s reconciliation and reporting working group. Prior to this role, Ms. Parthiban was managing the OTC and listed derivatives, collateral reconciliations functions for the asset management division.
