Brandon Bower

Brandon Bower is a Director of Tax Information Reporting, Policy & Compliance at Charles Schwab & Co. in Westlake, TX. He is responsible for providing international and domestic tax and cost basis guidance for all client tax reporting matters as well as tax abatements and regulatory audits.

Brandon has served in the brokerage industry for over 23 years with broad operational experience and tax knowledge. Prior to joining Charles Schwab, Brandon held various leadership roles in Client Tax and Cost Basis at Capital One, Scottrade, First Command Financial, and TD Ameritrade. Brandon has been an active contributor at Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), and he now serves as the Co-Chair of SIFMA’s Corporate Actions Section.

Brandon holds his FINRA Series 7, 63 licenses and the FINRA SIE – Securities Industry Essentials Examination. Brandon received a BS in Business, cum laude, at Tarleton State University. As a military veteran and former public servant, Brandon served 4 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, 3 years in the Air Force Reserves, and 2 years as a city police officer.
