Brenda E. Lee

Partner and Vice Chair, Anti-Discrimination Practice, WilmerHale

Brenda Lee is a partner in the Investigations and Criminal Litigation practice and the Vice Chair of the Anti-Discrimination practice at WilmerHale. She represents companies, universities, and individuals in a broad range of investigations and related proceedings brought by the DOJ, SEC, FINRA, FinCEN, and state Attorneys General. She has significant experience representing financial institutions, tech companies, and individuals in parallel proceedings, including overlapping criminal and civil investigations. Brenda also has extensive experience conducting racial equity audits, workplace culture reviews, and internal investigations in the wake of high-profile allegations of harassment and discrimination, as well as advising clients on best practices for developing DEI initiatives. She is co-hiring partner for WilmerHale’s DC office and a member of the firm-wide Pro Bono and Community Service Committee.

Ms. Lee earned her JD at Harvard Law School and an AB in Biochemical Sciences at Harvard College.
