Christopher Shott

Christopher Shott, based in New York City, is a Tax manager in the KPMG Information Reporting & Withholding practice. Prior to joining KPMG in October 2022, Chris was an attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Large Business & International Division. During his 14 years with the IRS, he focused on Chapter 3 withholding and Chapter 4 FATCA, including both programmatic and examination issues.

Chris graduated magna cum laude from The College of New Jersey with a BS degree in criminology and justice studies and received his JD degree, cum laude, from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University (formerly Hofstra University School of Law).
