Colleen O’Brien

Managing Director & Senior Counsel, Goldman Sachs

Colleen O’Brien is a managing director in the Litigation and Regulatory Proceedings Group at Goldman Sachs, where she has worked since 2016.

Prior to joining the firm, Colleen was senior counsel at the New York State Department of Financial Services, where she focused on a wide range of financial services enforcement and policy matters. Before that, she was a litigator at the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York.

Colleen serves on the boards of the New York City Bar Fund and the Harvard Law School Association of New York City.

Colleen earned a dual BA from the University of Maryland in 2003 and a JD from Harvard Law School in 2007.
