Dan Hunter

Dan Hunter is joined Santander in 2023 as Chief of Staff to the Head of North America. Prior to joining Santander, Dan was Senior Managing Director and Head of Financial Services for the Americas at FTI Consulting, one of the world’s largest communication agencies.
Dan is a respected communications leader, recognized for his innovative approach to crisis management and high-profile litigation, as well as his handling of Congressional and Federal government investigations and regulatory matters. Additionally, Dan is known for his successful thought leadership campaigns and C-suite positioning across both traditional and social media.
Dan has a deeply rooted knowledge of the corporate and stakeholder nexus gained from his decades of experience working in house in major institutions. At Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of Corporate Communications for the Americas and the Global Investment Bank, Dan led the bank through an extremely challenging reputational turnaround.
