Danielle Nishida

Danielle is a principal in PriceWaterHouse Cooper’s global information reporting group with 17 years experience in information reporting and withholding at the Internal Revenue Service, big 4 accounting firms, and law firms.  Danielle advises a wide range of clients including banks, funds, PE structures, real estate groups, non-profits, and multinationals on a variety of IRW matters including FATCA, the Common Reporting Standard, chapter 3 (NRA withholding), Domestic (Form 1099) reporting, backup withholding, income characterization and sourcing, reporting for transfers of partnership interests, and the qualified derivative dealer rules.

Danielle was previously a principal at KPMG, where she served as an information reporting and withholding specialist in Washington National Tax.  Prior to that, Danielle was a tax attorney at the Internal Revenue Service, Office of Chief Counsel, International, where she served as a principal drafter of the FATCA regulations and other IRW guidance.  Danielle started her career as a tax associate at Burt, Staples, & Maner.
