David Lefkowitz is a Managing Director at JPMorganChase and is the Global Head of Asset-Backed Securities (“ABS”) Origination. The ABS Origination business provides liquidity to corporations backed by consumer and commercial assets. Mr. Lefkowitz currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA).
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, David was a Director in the Asset-Backed Securities Group at CIBC Oppenheimer where he managed balance sheet CLO’s and asset-backed commercial paper programs in the US and Europe and worked on the structuring of esoteric ABS including film slate and mutual fund fee securitizations. David started his career as an Auditor with PriceWaterhouse.
David graduated from Cornell University with a B.S in Agricultural Economics.
