Elizabeth Varley

Liz Varley joined Ameriprise Financial in 2014 as Vice President in the Federal Government Affairs Office.  She has extensive background in retirement policy, securities, insurance, and asset management.  Prior to her role at Ameriprise, Liz held positions at New York Life Insurance Company and the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). She worked in the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging and as an attorney for the Bipartisan Commission on Entitlements and Tax Reform.  Ms. Varley graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College Of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska.
