Eric G Banta

Eric Banta manages a legal team supporting derivatives documentation and trading operations of Voya Investment Management (Voya IM). Voya IM is a registered investment advisor with approximately $330B in AUM which manages fixed income and equity investment strategies for Voya’s U.S. insurance affiliates as well as third party institutional clients including mutual funds, ETF’s, managed accounts, hedge funds, and collective investment trusts.  Eric has worked as in-house counsel for ING/Voya for over 20 years and is experienced in regulatory compliance for investment advisors, derivatives regulation and documentation, state regulation of insurance company investments, and federal securities law.  Eric is a graduate of Colorado College and the University of Denver College of Law and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
