Eric Kriftcher
ERIC L. KRIFTCHER is a Managing Director and Associate General Counsel in the Global Banking and Markets Division at Bank of America. Eric and his team primarily are responsible for providing legal coverage to the Bank’s fixed income sales and trading businesses globally, including Mortgages, Credit, Rates and Currencies. In addition, Eric handles various cross-product regulatory and market structure issues and initiatives. Eric also is the legal advisor to PriceServe, an independent fixed income pricing service established by the Bank.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2006, Eric worked in various legal and compliance capacities at Nomura Securities International, Inc. and Lehman Brothers Inc. Eric was a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett before joining Lehman and began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Gerard L. Goettel of the federal district court in New York. Eric currently is an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University School of Law and previously taught at New York Law School. Eric is a past member of FINRA’s Fixed Income and District 10 Committees.
Eric graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the Law Review, and received his B.A. degree from Wesleyan University.
