Erica Green
Erica A. Green is a leader in Vanguard’s Office of General Counsel (OGC) with specific responsibility for the Compliance teams for Vanguard’s distribution businesses and self-clearing broker-dealer, Vanguard Marketing Corporation. She joined Vanguard in 2018. Prior to her current role, she led the Disclosure and Governance team within the OGC. She and her team were responsible for the regulatory disclosures for the U.S. Vanguard funds, for providing guidance to the Vanguard boards on regulatory governance and for advising the Investment Stewardship team on matters of proxy voting and corporate governance engagement.
Erica began her legal practice at WilmerHale LLP focusing on securities law regulatory matters. Following her time in private practice and prior to Vanguard, she spent time at a global financial services firm in New York, NY providing legal support to its agency trading and market making businesses in the Americas and was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of a financial services technology and clearing brokerage firm in Northern Virginia.
Erica earned her B.B.A with an emphasis in finance from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
