Friederike Rotsch

Group General Counsel, Deutsche Bank AG

Friederike Rotsch is the Group General Counsel of Deutsche Bank AG since September 2023. In this role, she is responsible for Legal, Group Governance and Data Privacy. Previously, she served as the Group General Counsel of Merck KGaA since 2014. Before taking on this role, she led Internal Audit and held various positions in the legal department at Merck KGaA since 2005. She studied and received her doctorate degree at the University of Passau and the University of Wales/College of Cardiff. Before joining Merck KGaA, she worked for an international law firm in Frankfurt/Main and Düsseldorf, Germany.

Additionally, Friederike Rotsch is a member of the Supervisory Board and Lead Independent Director at SAP SE since 2018.
