Gareth McKibben
Gareth McKibben is Associate General Counsel, Bank Regulatory, at Raymond James Financial. He advises Raymond James Financial and its bank and non-bank subsidiaries on a wide range of bank and bank holding company regulatory, corporate governance, and transactional matters. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, where he teaches a class on emerging issues in financial regulation. Gareth previously worked at Citigroup, including as Chief of Staff to the Chief Compliance Officer of Citigroup. Before law school, Gareth worked for a United Nations agency in Uganda and the Ministry of Justice in London.
Gareth has law degrees from the University of Law in London (LL.B.) and Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M.). He also has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland and a M.Res. in International Politics from the University of Manchester in England.
