Hui Lin

Director of School of Accountancy & MIS in the Driehaus College of Business, DePaul University

Dr. Hui Lin is the Director of School of Accountancy & MIS in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University. An award winning professor, Lin is currently teaching financial accounting courses at DePaul University. Her research interests include accounting information systems, knowledge management, information security and internal controls. Her research has been published at leading academic journals such as Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Emerging Technologies in Accounting, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems and Behavioral Research in Accounting. Lin received her Ph.D. in accounting from Virginia Tech in 2008. She also holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Accountancy from Virginia Tech. Prior to her academic career, Lin was a business consultant specializing in enterprise solutions and system implementations at Arthur Andersen and BearingPoint consulting in the greater Washington DC area.
