Global Head of Commercial & Investment Bank Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) , JP Morgan Chase

Jeremy Bell joined JPMorgan Chase in 2011, and is currently Global Head of Commercial & Investment Bank Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR). Prior to that, he was Global Head of Asset & Wealth Management Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk. Jeremy also served as Chief Compliance Officer for the Corporate & Investment Bank in North America and Chief Compliance Officer for J.P. Morgan Securities, LLC., as well as head of Global Compliance Practices and Exam Management, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of a common Compliance Risk Framework and associated standards and practices. Jeremy was also responsible for managing the Compliance Department’s regulatory engagements.
Prior to his tenure at JPMorgan Chase, Jeremy spent 10 years collectively at Citigroup (Citi) and MetLife in senior Compliance and Legal roles. While at Citi, Jeremy also contributed to the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Joint Venture (MSSB), ultimately serving as a lawyer in MSSB’s Legal Department.
Jeremy began his career as a litigator in private practice. Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Rochester (’94) and Brooklyn Law School (’98). He is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut and holds various securities licenses.
