Jessica Newman

Jessica Newman is Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Baird. She joined Baird as part of its acquisition of Hilliard Lyons in 2019. Jessica is primarily responsible for legal matters arising from Baird’s Private Wealth Management business, which includes recruiting, human resources, vulnerable adult issues, client complaints, regulatory inquiries, arbitration, and litigation. Prior to joining Hilliard Lyons in 2017, Jessica served as in-house counsel for a regional bank, as well as engaged in private practice with a focus on bankruptcy, estate planning, real estate, and family law.

Jessica earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law in 2006.
