Joanna Geneve

Joanna Geneve is a Managing Associate General Counsel on HSBC North America Holdings Inc.’s Litigation, Regulatory Enforcement and Investigations team and HSBC Holdings plc’s Global Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement team. Working at HSBC since 2018, Joanna handles a broad range of regulatory and internal investigations, litigation, enforcement proceedings, and other inquiries both in the US and globally, with a focus on ESG-related matters. Joanna began her legal career at Davis Polk & Wardwell as a litigation associate, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable William Walls of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Joanna graduated from Harvard Law School and Columbia University.
