Jon Cherry

President & Head of North America Brokerage, Northern Trust Securities, Inc.

Jon Cherry currently serves as President & Head of NA Brokerage at Northern Trust Securities, Inc. He is responsible for all aspects of the NA brokerage franchise which include Sales Trading, Trading, Operations and Transitions Management.

Jon first joined Northern Trust in 2015 to establish our NA Options business. Today, our Derivative offering is a global product supporting Institutional Asset Owners and Asset Managers execution and support needs across Index, ETF and Single-Stock options and support for RTO derivatives, globally.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, he ran his own trading group in Chicago, developing option strategies and trading for Banks, Hedge Funds, and Asset managers. Jon currently holds FINRA licenses: 4, 7, 24, 55, 63 and has been a SIFMA Advisory Council Member since 2020.
