Laura Chepucavage

Head of Global Financing and Futures, Global Rates and Counterparty Portfolio Management, Bank of America

Laura Chepucavage is based in New York and is responsible for Global Financing and Futures, Global Rates and Counterparty Portfolio Management at Bank of America.

The Global Financing and Futures organization sits within FICC Trading and Laura is responsible for Global Repo trading, Short Cash trading, Commercial Paper trading, as well as Futures/Options/OTC Clearing, Execution and FIPB. She also oversees the Short Rate Sales franchise.

As it relates to Global Rates and Counterparty Portfolio Management, she is responsible for leading the firm’s trading businesses in Govt Bonds, Linear and Non-Linear Interest Rate Derivatives in the North America, EMEA and APAC. She is also responsible for managing the firm’s CVA, FVA and Loan Portfolio hedging.

Laura started with Merrill Lynch in 2002 as a Global Markets summer intern and started full time in 2003 within the Interest Rate Sales Division. She spent ten years in Interest Rates Sales before moving to FICC Trading in 2013. Laura spent over seven years in Global Short Rates Trading prior to being named head of GFF. She was given the expanded remit of leading Global Rates and Counterparty Portfolio Management in April 2024.

Laura is actively involved in various D&I and recruiting initiatives at Bank of America. She recently sat
on the Global Diversity and Inclusion Council, as well as the Women’s Leadership Council. In addition, Laura serves on behalf of the Bank as the Chair of the SIFMA Board of Directors. Laura graduated from Georgetown University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business.
