Laura V. Morrison

As CRO, Laura oversees the sales, marketing and product development teams with a focus on expanding the firm’s strategy, brand reputation and market position in the industry.  Laura joined Direxion in 2022 and, together with the team, works to deliver innovative trading and investment products with an emphasis on client engagement and education.

Prior to joining Direxion, she served as SVP, Global Head of Listings at Cboe Global Markets where she oversaw the Cboe listings business including strategy development for ETP launches and transfers, and market-quality incentive programs.

She began her career working at a specialist firm on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) floor. After having spent 20 years in leadership roles at the NYSE, Ms. Morrison left to help build a brand-new stock exchange, BATS (Better Alternative Trading Systems).

Laura is well known and respected within the Global ETF and Exchange industries.  She serves as a board member of the US Women in ETFs board and serves on several ICI and SIFMA committees. Laura is a member of the S&P DJ Indices US Equities Advisory Panel and participated in the World 50 Executive Leader program.

Laura graduated from Western Michigan University with a major in Finance and Marketing minor. She also accepted an Executive invitation to attend the Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Laura holds a Series 7 license.
