
Martin Koopman
Martin Koopman has twenty years’ experience as an entrepreneur and a corporate executive in the financial technology field. He is currently President of Bank Broker Dealer, ICS at Broadridge Financial Solutions, a S&P 500 company focused on financial technology. At Broadridge he is a member of the Executive Leadership team and is responsible for the regulatory communications business unit.
Martin has led several AI/Machine Learning initiatives and is AWS Certified – Machine Learning Specialty.
Previously, Martin was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy for NYSE Euronext. At the New York Stock Exchange Martin was the NYSE representative on the Board of Directors of two joint ventures – NYSE Blue and ATS Brazil.
Martin Koopman was a co-founder and CEO of Cameron Systems, a financial services messaging software company that grew to number one market share. The company (now called CameronTec) remains the number one provider and 30% of equity trades globally travel over software from CameronTec. Martin led the sale of Cameron Systems to Orc Software in 2006.
While at Orc Software, a public company focused on advanced derivatives trading, he was President – North America and a member of Orc’s Executive Committee.
Earlier in his career Martin was a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group focused on financial services and technology.
Originally from New Zealand, during his career in financial technology Martin has lived and worked in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Melbourne and led a NYSE joint venture in Brazil.
