Mike Fiscella

Mike Fiscella (he, his, him) is Managing Director and Global Head of Firmwide Operations at Jefferies, based in NYC.

Mike joined Jefferies in October 2022 following a 25-year career at Morgan Stanley, where he held several senior-level positions, including most recently as Managing Director, Global Head of Securities Services leading both the Operations teams and associated Technology Platforms.  Mike also served as Firmwide lead on Global T+1/Accelerated Settlement across all business segments.  Mike also led Firmwide programs focused on Operations Location Strategy, Career & Training and Operational Resilience.  Mike’s teams across Global Operations pioneered new technologies across firm/industry using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to augment operational processes including machine learning, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Mike holds numerous industry registrations, and is an active member of SIFMA’s Operations and Technology Senior Steering Committee (OTSC).   Mike has been elected to/held various industry leadership roles at DTCC and ISITC.  Mike serves as an Associate board member at Symphony.  Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice (Philosophy Minor) graduating in an accelerated program Magna Cum Laude from ST. John’s University, where he also studied International Finance as part of their MBA Program.
