Nancy Hendrickson

Nancy is a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at D.A. Davidson Companies. Based in Chicago, Nancy covers a wide array of issues for the firm, including litigation and arbitration matters, regulatory inquiries and investigations, recruiting/transition issues, customer complaints, Senior Investor Protection issues, note collections, and Davidson Trust Co. matters. Nancy joined D.A. Davidson in 2022 after a three-decade career in private practice as a commercial litigator and trial lawyer focusing on matters arising in the financial services industry. She has extensive trial and arbitration experience throughout the United States, in matters ranging from complex securities fraud to customer complaints involving sales practice issues. Nancy also has significant experience defending individuals and firms in enforcement and regulatory matters before the SEC, FINRA and various state regulators. In the employment context, Nancy’s experience encompasses compensation-related disputes, wrongful/retaliatory discharge claims, and restrictive covenant agreements. She has prosecuted several employee raiding/recruiting cases resulting in multimillion dollar arbitration awards, as well as successfully defended such cases.
