Patricia Lopez

Patty Lopez is a Director in Citi’s Finance and Risk Shared Services—Tax Information Reporting (TIR) supporting Banking, Markets, Treasury/Trade Solutions, Securities Services, Personal Banking and Wealth Management. Patty serves as the Global Operations advisory lead providing technical and operational process advisory support on FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3/61 and QI/QDD matters. This includes design and implementation support of standard technologies and controls and talent development programs across the global TIR Organization.  Patty also manages a governance team that provides a governance framework across Citi that focuses on the application of standardized guidance and practices in partnership with Corporate Tax.  Prior to her current role, Patty spent three years in London managing Citi’s EMEA Markets Tax Operations and two years in Hong Kong developing a tax operations shared service model in Mumbai.  Prior to joining Citi, Patty was a senior associate with PwC’s Global Tax Information Reporting practice.  Patty joined PwC after working four years at Lehman Brothers where she managed U.S. tax information reporting and withholding compliance, including the VCP Program and QI.  Patty received a B.S. in Finance and International Business from New York University.
