Patrick R. Jones

Patrick R. Jones is Head of Sourcing, Client Engagement, and Contracts within Fidelity Investments’ Vendor Management Organization. He is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies that drive value, mitigate vendor risk, and enhance operational efficiency across the firm. In addition, Patrick is a member of the senior leadership team for Fidelity’s Vendor Management Organization. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel in Fidelity’s Legal Department, where he led the Transactional Center of Excellence, which provided core transactional support across the enterprise, including both “buy-side” and “sell-side” transactions.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Patrick was in private practice where he represented clients in a broad array of corporate, finance and transactional matters. He began his career as a law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is a member of bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Federal District Court of Massachusetts. Patrick is a graduate of Boston University School of Law and the College of the Holy Cross.
